DIC introduction¶
DIC is a method for measuring the similarity between two images. It is based on the assumption that the grey values of the images are correlated. The method is described in detail in the following publication:
P. Reischl, M. Schanz, M. Müller, M. Kachelrieß, and K. Stierstorfer, “Digital image correlation in industrial computed tomography,” in *Proceedings of the 10th International Symposium on Measurement Technology and Intelligent Instruments (ISMTII 2011), 2011, pp. 1–6.*
